HOUSING OPTIONS - Two types are being offered:

The college offers suites which are a collection of 3 or 4 bedrooms each with one twin bed (not a bunk bed). Some suites contain 1 bathroom and others 2 bathrooms. These apartments include a kitchen and living area. Washer and dryers are available. You will need to provide your own linens (sheets/blankets/pillows/towels), kitchen supplies (dishes/utensils/paper products), and laundry supplies (detergent/fabric softener/iron/ironing board). Trash bags and toilet paper will be provided. NOTE: There are no elevators, only stairs.

The campus will allow families to sleep an additional 4 guests on the floor for 1 bath suites and an additional 6 guests in 2 bath suites (on sleeping bags, air mattresses, or cots from home). You will not be able to choose and guarantee a 1 or 2 bathroom option. The housing coordinator will have to make the final assignments for 1 or 2 bathrooms, giving preferences to suites shared between more than one family and suites that hit maximum capacity.

1. FULL SUITE - 4 separate bedrooms and 1 or 2 bathrooms - $450 $350/week

  • A full suite includes 4 private bedrooms, each with a twin bed (not a bunk). These suites are for families with NITOC participants. One large family per suite, for a total of 10 occupants in a 2 bathroom suite, and 8 occupants in a 1 bathroom suite. There must be a responsible parent at least 25 years old in each suite. No minors of mixed gender from separate families are permitted to stay in the same suite. No unregistered guests are permitted to occupy these suites.

  • Full suite with 1 bathroom

  • Full suite with 2 bathrooms

2. SHARED HALF-SUITES - 2 separate bedrooms - $225 $175/week

  • Half-suite option is only valid if you are approved by the coordinator to share a suite between 2 responsible parties. All minors must be the same gender. 2 families of four max per suite. For example: a mom/daughter can share with another mom/daughter in a shared suite. This option is not for mom/dad and kids to share with another mom/dad and kids. Maximum of 4 in a family. NOTE: Housing Coordinator cannot match you with a suite-mate. Both families must request a half-suite and list their roommate preference at registration. Another option: If you’d like this option, but don’t know of a family to share with, you may share your information on the “seeking suite-mate” list and wait to complete your registration until a match is found. Once you have an agreement with another family, you may finalize your registration. A parent (25 years or older) MUST be housed in the suite. No extra (unregistered) persons are permitted to stay in a suite.

NOTE: There is a kitchen and washer/dryer accessible in or near these suites. Remember: a responsible parent of at least 25 must occupy this suite and no unregistered guests are allowed.

Ready to Request On-Campus Housing?

  1. Read the UU Housing Rules and Campus Housing Terms of Agreement listed on the left side of the home page. If you understand and agree with these rules, you are ready to proceed.
  2. Click on the NITOC Housing Registration tab at the top of the home page and follow the first 3 steps. All reservations must be made by a Responsible Party (parent or chaperone at least 25 years old), who is financially responsible for all costs associated with that reservation. You will need your Stoa membership information to register on this site. All occupants staying in the suite must be registered. Add yourself and all occupants using the blue "add occupant" tab.
  3. Carefully review your information to make sure everything is correct and complete.
  4. Do NOT proceed to pay by Stripe until instructed to do so by the NITOC Housing Coordinator. We will let you know if your request is approved and instruct you to pay at a later date.

When will I know if I am approved for On-Campus Housing?

  • Housing allocations will be made on a first-come-first-served basis, according to the time/date record on registrations with all information entered, but pending payment.
  • If a room has been allocated to you, you will be sent an email from Stoa's NITOC Housing Coordinator asking you to "Log back in and complete your registration." You will then be given 48 hours to complete your payment by Stripe and secure your On-Campus Housing.

NOTE:

On-Campus Housing payments are non-refundable, and are required to be paid in full when instructed by the housing coordinator in order to secure a suite for the entire week. If you arrive late or leave early, we are unable to pro-rate the price or offer a refund.Due to the complexity of this process, we need to allocate the rooms manually before registrants are notified to make their payments. Please be patient as this may take several days, depending on the volume of registrations.
